Born and raised in North GA, Nicole is a former professional Ballroom dancer whose passion is serving others, empowering them, and assisting them with healing of the  mind, body, and spirit. She began her nursing career as a Critical Care/Trauma RN and has extensive experience in both allopathic and integrative medicine. A certified AMEN Clinic Professional, certified IASIS MCN Neurofeedback Specialist, and Frequency Specific Microcurrent provider, she holds certifications in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, and Sexual Assault Nursing as well as in several holistic and alternative therapies such as Microcurrent (Needle-less) Acupuncture, Prolotherapy, Ozone IV therapy, and Heart Rate Variability.  

 

Nicole became fascinated with the brain and its potential for continuous growth, change and healing while in nursing school.  After reading an article entitled, “The Science of Happiness” in Newsweek magazine, she began to dream of working in the field of Neuroscience.  Nicole was introduced to the miracle of Neurofeedback through witnessing the arduous journey of her dear friend as she battled with Lyme and its deadly coinfections.  Within three months of beginning neurofeedback therapy, Nicole’s friend began to regain her grip on life, gaining strength, and slowly eluding the jaws of death. It was through this friend that Nicole, who was searching for a new path, growth, and  more fulfilling ways of helping enrich the lives of others, become certified as an IASIS MCN Neurofeedback Provider.  

 

Without hesitation, Nicole said goodbye to friends and family, packed herself and her zoo - two large Parti Poodles and two cats - hitched a trailer to her vehicle, and set out across the country to pursue this thrilling destiny. After obtaining her Neurofeedback certification, Nicole was invited to join Dr. Jason Porter, NMD, at East Valley Naturopathic Doctors in Mesa, Arizona. There, she gained extensive experience not only as Neurofeedback expert, but also in Naturopathy and integrative medicine. 

 

As the first RN to be certified in IASIS MCN Neurofeedback, Nicole was honored to become one of the Master trainers for IASIS, and, in collaboration with researchers at the University of California, San Diego, has had the privilege of teaching hundreds of other clinical providers and in helping establish Neurofeedback and wellness clinics in Williamsville, New York and Jacksonville, FL.  Nicole has a private practice in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, where she uses a multi-modal, holistic approach to assist her clients.
