Why choose FSM?

Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) is a clinically tested, FDA - approved therapy that is used by a wide variety of medical and mental health professionals. FSM is used to treat many physical and emotional disorders. Microcurrent frequencies create beneficial changes in symptoms and health. In combination with Neurofeedback, FSM assists clients in more rapidly achieving a balanced, stable state.

How does FSM work?

FSM protocols use a series of specific frequencies that have been observed to change pain, function, and even structure in a large number of clinical conditions. FSM delivers tiny, painless, pulses of electrical energy, microamperage current (the same current produced by your body's own cells), to the tissues and cells of the body. Research suggests that the frequencies resonate with biologic tissue, change cell signaling by changing cell membrane receptors, thereby balancing cell function. FSM is especially effective in reducing inflammation, treating inflammatory conditions, acute and chronic pain, and speeding up the healing process of new injuries and post-op recovery.

Are there any contraindications?

There are no known risks or dangers associated with the use of Frequency Specific Microcurrent. FSM should not be used to treat cancer. FSM should not be used on patients known to be  pregnant. Special precautions are taken in treating patients who have pacemakers.

Adequate hydration is vital to the effectiveness of FSM. Patients who are chronically dehydrated may need more water in order for treatment to be effective. Each client is encouraged to drink at least one quart of water within 4 hours prior to treatment.

What are the possible side effects?

FMS frequencies increase cellular metabolism, which sometimes produces a detoxification reaction. Side-effects can include nausea, fatigue, a temporary increase in pain, and/or flu-like symptoms. Most side-effects are gone within 24 hours following treatment. Side-effects can be limited by drinking plenty of water, which helps the body flush out waste.

What can I expect?

Your particular response to Frequency Specific Microcurrent cannot be predicted, nor can your outcome. Each patient's journey and response vary. Some patients experience great shifts and growth while others are slow and steady in their progress. Progress rarely follows a straightforward path, but often goes "up and down" with a general trend in the desired direction.
